Our Company Profile

K-Agri and Farming (Pty) Ltd is an emerging South African breeder of Boer Goats for the domestic and international market located just outside Mahikeng, North West Province. K-Agri is well on target to become a Mid-Tier Southern African Boer Goat producer.

K-Agri and Farming (Pty) Ltd currently has 100 studs, producing approximately 120 Boer Goats for the export and domestic markets. By 2016, K-Agri is set to double its Boer Goat breeding capacity, putting it on target to achieve a production rate of 1000 by the end of 2018/19.

The company aspires to commercially breed the best, naturally reared Boer Goats, whilst adhering to the SA Boer Goat Standard.


Future Developments, Prospects and Operations Strategies

To further improve the farm’s profit and maximise shareholders wealth, the following developments are intended to be implemented in the near future:

  • The farm will continue to expand its breeding programme.
  • With our expansion opportunities, together with our current strategy of continuous improvement and an adherence to breeding quality control, are expected to assist in the achievement of the group’s medium-term goal of investing in this initiative, with early cash flow to fund its on-going operational financial requirements.
  • The company wishes to expand its breeding interests in South Africa.
  • The company plans to develop these investments to fruition through utilisation of balance sheet of its parent company Kgatelopele Amalgamated (Pty) Ltd.
